NFL 2026 Season Now Live Across Kenya on ESPN Africa

Kenyan NFL fans can now follow the entire 2026 season live β from the opening
Kickoff Game through the regular season, the postseason, and Super Bowl LXI.
The National Football League has confirmed that ESPN and ESPN2 will carry
live coverage of every game across more than 50 Sub-Saharan African markets,
including Kenya, for the full 2026 season.
Coverage began with the NFL Kickoff Game in the early hours of Thursday,
September 10 (3:20 a.m. EAT), as the Seattle Seahawks hosted the New England
Patriots in a rematch of Super Bowl LX. From here, fans can catch both Sunday
afternoon windows, Sunday Night Football, Monday Night Football, and
Thursday Night Football β every single week of the season.
ESPN will carry the full postseason, concluding with Super Bowl LXI from
SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, airing live in the early hours of
Monday, February 15 (2:30 a.m. EAT).
βThe NFL is growing fast across Africa β not only in the size of the
fanbase, but in the number of players from the continent that fans can now
watch and call their own,β said Laura Louisy, NFL senior director of
international business development and media. βESPN gives those fans a
consistent home for the game every week, from the Kickoff Game through to
the Super Bowl.β
The announcement lands at a significant moment for American football in
Kenya. In July, Nairobi hosted the 2026 NFL Flag Africa Continental
Championship, bringing together national and youth teams from five African
nations β Kenya, Ghana, Nigeria, Egypt, and South Africa β for three days of
competition and talent development, part of the NFLβs wider push to grow
the sport across the continent.

For Kenyan fans, it means no more waiting for the Super Bowl once a year β
the NFL is now a weekly fixture on the local sports calendar.
